As announced in the Railway Budget 2013-2014, Train No. 17606 / 17605 Kacheguda –Mangalore Central- Kacheguda Bi-weekly Express will be introduced from the dates mentioned.
Inaugural Special Service
The inaugural run of Mangalore Central - Kacheguda Bi-weekly Express will be flagged off by Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, Hon’ble Minister for Railways as a Special Train (No. 07605) from Mangalore Central on 23rdFebruary, 2014. The Train will depart Mangalore Central at 15:30 hrs on 23rdFebruary, 2014 and arrive Kacheguda at 19:30 hrs on the next day.
The inaugural run of Kacheguda - Mangalore Bi-weekly Express will be flagged off by Shri M. Anjan Kumar Yadav, Hon’ble Member of Parliament as a Special Train (No. 07606) from Kacheguda on 25th February, 2014. The Train will depart Kacheguda at 11:00 hrs on 25th February, 2014 and arrive Mangalore Central at 15:00 hrs on the next day.
Regular Services
The regular run of Train Nos. 17606/17605 Kacheguda - Mangalore Central –Kacheguda Bi-weekly Express will commence from 28thFebruary, 2014 Ex. Kacheguda and from 26thFebruary, 2014 Ex. Mangalore Central.
Accordingly, Train No.17606 Kacheguda - Mangalore Central Bi-weekly Express will depart Kacheguda at 06:00 hrs on Tuesdays & Fridays and arrive Mangalore Central at 11:20 hrs on the next day.
In the opposite direction, Train No.17605 Mangalore Central – Kacheguda Bi-weekly Express will depart Mangalore Central at 20:00 hrson Wednesdays & Saturdays and arrive Kacheguda at 03:40 hrs on the second day (Fridays and Mondays).
Enroute, these trains will stop at Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool City, Dhone, Gooty, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Razampeta, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanu, Kanhangad and Kasaragod stations in both the directions.

INTRODUCTION OF LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS – KARAIKAL WEEKLY EXPRESS
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Prithviraj Chavan, will flag off the inaugural special of Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Karaikal Express on 27.10.2013. The inaugural special No.01017 will leave Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 14.25 hrs. on 27.10.2013, pass through Chennai Egmore at 16.30/16.40 hrs. on 28.10.2013 and arrive Karaikal at 00.30 hrs. on 29.10.2013. In the return direction, T.No.01018 Special will leave Karaikal at 09.45 hrs. on 29.10.2013, pass through Chennai Egmore at 19.00/19.10 hrs. the same day and arrive Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 17.20 hrs. o*n 30.10.2013.
Advance reservation for T.No.01018 will commence on 26.10.2013.

Introduction of Daily Train service between Chennai Central and Palani
The inaugural special train No. 06002 left Palani at 16:00 hours on October 1 and arrived Chennai Central at 02.30 hours. The regular service of the train No.16001 Chennai Central – Palani daily express will commence on October 1, and that of train No. 16002 Palani – Chennai Central will commence on October 2.
INTRODUCTION OF Mangalore - Puducherry (Weekly) Express TRAIN
The Mangalore- Tiruchi Weekly Express will be extended to Puducherry from this weekend, as announced earlier this year. Special inaugural run of the train will be launched on September 28

The special inaugural run of the Mangalore- Puducherry train will be launched on September 28 and will be flagged off at Mahe by V. Narayanasamy, Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office, said a release from the Tiruchi division of Southern Railways. Advance reservation for the special train will commence on Friday.
The inaugural special (train no. 06858) will leave Mangalore at 1.45 pm on Saturday and reach Tiruchi at 05.30 am on September 29. The train will arrive at Puducherry at 10.00 am the same day. The special train will comprise of First Class AC 2-tier, First class AC 3-tier, four sleeper class, six general second class and two second class cum luggage coaches.
The extension of the Mangalore- Tiruchi express to Puducherry follows close on the heels of the weekly Tirupati- Puducherry express that was launched by the Railway Minister last week.
Regular service will commence from Mangalore on September 29 and from Puducherry on October 5. The Puducherry Mangalore Weekly express (Train No. 16857) will leave Puducherry station on Saturdays at 4.35 pm and reach Tiruchy at 8.40 pm, Mahe at 6.06 am the next morning and Mangalore at 9.50 am. On its return, the Mangalore-Puducherry Weekly Express (16858) will leave Mangalore station at 4.50 pm on Sundays and reach Mahe at 7.40 pm, Tiruchi at 5.15 am on Monday and arrive at Puducherry station at 10 am the same day.
The train will stop at Kasargod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Mahe, Kozhikkode, Tirur, Shoranur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Karur, Tiruchi, Srirangam, Ariyalur, Vriddhachalam and Villupuram.

The inaugural special train No. 06002 left Palani at 16:00 hours on October 1 and arrived Chennai Central at 02.30 hours. The regular service of the train No.16001 Chennai Central – Palani daily express will commence on October 1, and that of train No. 16002 Palani – Chennai Central will commence on October 2.
Train No. 16001 Chennai Central – Palani dailyexpress will leave
Chennai Central at 21:00 hours and arrive in Palani at 8:00 hours the
nextday. Train 16002 Palani – Chennai Central Express will leave Palani at
18:00 hours and arrive at Chennai Central at 04:50 hours the next day.
The composition of the train will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 7 Sleeper
Class, 6 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-break van coaches. The trains will stop at Arakonnam, Katpadi, Gudiyattam, Jolarpettai,
Salem, Rasipuram, Namakkal, Karur, Dindigul, Akkaraipatti, Oddanchatram
and Chatrappatti. Train no. 16002 will stop at Perambur too.

the convenience of rail passengers, Northern Railway has decided to introduce a
new train No. 14521/14522 Delhi Jn.- Ambala Cantt.- Delhi Jn. Express to run
daily from 15.09.2013 from both the directions. The new train will run as per
the following schedule:-
The 14522 Ambala Cantt.- DelhiJn. Daily Express Train will depart from Ambala
Cantt. at 05.40 a.m. to arrive at Delhi Jn. at 11.40 a.m. the same day. In the

INTRODUCTION OF PUDUCHERRY – KANNIYAKUMARI (WEEKLY) EXPRESS
As announced by the Hon’ble Minister for Railways in the Railway Budget 2013–14, a new weekly train will be introduced between Puducherry and Kanniyakumari.
Thiru Kotla Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Railwayswill flag off the inaugural Puducherry – Kanniyakumari special at 17.00 hrs. on 15.7.2013 (Monday) in the presence of Thiru V. Narayanasamy, Hon’ble Union Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office and Hon’ble Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension and Thiru N. Rangasamy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Puducherry, at a function to be held at Puducherry railway station. Thiru P. Kannan, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Thiru V. Vaithilingam, Hon’ble Leader of Opposition, Puducherry, senior railway officials and other dignitaries will participate in the function.
Inaugural Special of T.No.06861 Puducherry – Kanniyakumari Special will leave Puducherry at 17.00 hrs. on 15.7.2013 and arrive Kanniyakumari at 08.40 hrs. on 16.7.2013. INTRODUCTION OF TRAIN SERVICES BETWEEN SALEM - KARUR via NAMAKKAL IN THE NEW BROAD GAUGE LANE

A much awaited passenger train service between salem-karur via namakkal was inaugurated on Saturday. The new passenger train operated on the newly-laid Salem-Namakkal-Karur broad gauge track arrived to a tumultuous welcome at Karur junction, where over 1,000 people gathered on Saturday.
Salem - Namakkal - Karur passenger train regular services to be commenced from 27-Mar-2013 on the new broad gauge route.
NEW AIR-CONDITIONED WEEKLY EXPRESS BETWEEN YESVANTPUR – KOCHUVELI
A new air-conditioned weekly express is to be introduced between Yesvantpur – Kochuveli. Train No.16561 Yesvantpur – Kochuveli air-conditioned weekly express will be introduced ex. Yesvantpur on 02.05.2013 and Train No.16562 Kochuveli – Yesvantpur air-conditioned weekly express will be introduced ex. Kochuveli on 03.05.2013.
Train No.16561 Yesvantpur – Kochuveli air-conditioned weekly express will leave Yesvantpur at 15.25 hrs. on Thursdays and reach Kochuveli at 06.50 hrs. on Fridays. Train No.16562 Kochuveli – Yesvantpur air-conditioned weekly express will leave Kochuveli at 12.50 hrs. on Fridays and reach Yesvantpur at 04.30 hrs. on Saturdays. A new weekly superfast express is to be introduced between Tirunelveli – Dadar via Konkan Railway. Train No.22630 Tirunelveli – Dadar weekly superfast express has been introduced ex. Tirunelveli on 01.05.2013 and Train No.22629 Dadar – Tirunelveli weekly superfast express will be introduced ex. Dadar on 03.05.2013.
Train No.22629 Dadar – Tirunelveli weekly superfast express will leave Dadar at 20.40 hrs. on Fridays and reach Tirunelveli at 04.00 hrs. on Sundays. Train No.22630 Tirunelveli – Dadar weekly superfast express will leave Tirunelveli at 07.10 hrs. on Wednesdays and reach Dadar at 15.10 hrs. on Thursdays. The much-awaited air-conditoned double decker express train between Chennai and Bangalore started its journey from today (25/4/2013).

Train No. 12519 Weekly AC Superfast Express will leave LTT at 07.50 am on every Sunday with effect from April 21 and will reach Kamakhya at 04.15 am on Tuesday
